BEHAVIORAL MAGIC™

Cute? Absolutely. When eight weeks old!
Not so cute as your dog gets older.
No Magic in Behavioral Magic™!
There is no magic in the approach we take. No magical wands, potions or spells. Nor do we have some special gift. We do change the lives of dogs with behavioral issues, and quite often extreme ones at that. It’s neither magic, nor a gift but actually an understanding of dogs. That understanding, and in turn the approaches which we use, do create amazing change. To most owners these changes are accomplished in relatively short periods of time. It is those types of results that owners often refer to as our “magic”.
Resolve for Your Dog’s Behavioral Problems
Often we hear people tell us that their dog is beyond help. They’ve been from dog trainer to dog trainer, group class to private classes to couch-time with a behaviorist. All with little to no results. When professionals tell you your dog is beyond hope, or maybe say there is hope but you don’t see change take place, giving up seems to just make sense. NOT SO FAST. If that sounds like you, DON’T GIVE UP!!! All approaches are not the same. How behavioral issues are approached makes all the difference. There is every reason to believe in a solution.
In most cases behavioral issues can be resolved. That includes not only those annoying issues such as pulling, jumping and begging for food but the most extreme behavioral problems. It is simply a matter of a correct understanding of dog behavior, and behavioral approaches in-line with how dogs process information and experience life. In individual cases where we cannot provide complete change in behavior in all likelihood we can modify it. In those rare cases where we cannot even modify an unwanted behavior we can at least control it. Change really is possible! In most cases, change can occur in a relatively short period of time.
Typically the results we consistently achieve with our off-leash obedience is what attracts the most attention to our training center. Of course, our off-leash obedience is the most visible. Our real passion is actually changing the lives of dogs who are brought (or sent) to us with the most extreme behavioral problems. The greater the problems, the more satisfying it is to us to create these changes. Of course the changes are usually not limited to just the dogs, life improves for their family, groomer, veterinarian and anyone else with whom they come into contact.
Your Dog’s Issues, or Your Issues with Your Dog
There are different levels of behavioral problems. Your dog may jump all over you when you leave home in the morning. Maybe it’s when you return home in the evening. Perhaps your dog shows aggression towards other dogs. You may feel frustrated that you come home only to find your dog has used your family room as a bathroom. Perhaps you’ve been dragged down the street one too many times when your dog sees a cat, rabbit or another dog playing with a ball. Regardless of how great or small the problem, we are here to help you.
An Evaluation and Consultation at No Charge (at our training center)
We are happy to perform an evaluation of your dog at no charge. Once completed we will advise you of our assessment and recommendations. The solution may require a single visit, several visits or a more comprehensive approach like our Naked Dog Training Program. What we don’t want you to do is take our word for it that we can help you. Stay for a while and watch us working with our client’s dogs. We want to earn your confidence in us, and our approach to creating change in your dog. You will see for yourself both the level of off-leash control, and how much the dogs we work with absolutely enjoy the process.
In-Home Evaluation and Training Available
We offer both in-home evaluations and training. Naturally there is a charge for travel time.
We would be happy to suggest a specific trainer, and their hourly rate, after an initial phone consultation (no charge).
Cost
$75.00 to $200.00+ per session
(We have a large and very talented staff of trainers. Naturally talents differ between trainers, as does the amount of experience. Our hourly rates are based on those differences.)
